Are the Democrats kidding or what?
OK, now I'm really ticked off. Last night President Bush gave a short speech commemorating the 9-11 attacks. He reiterated what happened as well as our nation's response.
Apparently the Democrats took umbrage at President Bush even mentioning Iraq. Let's not forget that the current hot war against terrorism this country is fighting is IN Iraq!
No!!!
Let's just try to make some political yardage by, once again, picking on Bush! Can't they do anything else! And in a time of open hostilities against American forces, they have to resort to this kind of partisan nit-picking! That hacks me off, BIG TIME!
I watched the speech and President Bush didn't say anything that was blatantly political. (Although I found myself wishing several times in the twenty minute speech that he would name some names of the fifth column residing here at home.) Bush only repeated the need for our vigilance, patience and determination to succeed in Iraq. This is of course necessary since the memory of the American public doesn't go back any further than who won the last Super Bowl or American Idol contest.
Of course the height of hypocrisy is usually practiced by the Democrat Party. I'm referring to the memorial services of Rosa Parks and of Paul Wellstone where the speakers just HAD to bring politics into their addresses and take, even more, cheap shots at President Bush. If the Demos can't keep their big mouths shut about politics at funeral services, they certainly shouldn't be pointing fingers at Bush for daring to mention the War on Terrorism on the fifth anniversary of what is commonly thought of as the start of the War on Terrorism!
One thing about the Democrat party that reminds me of Carl Marx, (Just one thing you ask?), Well the biggest thing is this: Marx once told a gathering of his communist comrades that if they were ever going to get away with the horrible things they were doing, they must accuse the opposition of the same things both loudly and first!
Remind you of someone????
Anyone that would care to comment, I would be happy to respond.
